RFID Reader

When a valid ID tag is swiped accross the the face of the reader, input buttons on the front light to indicate the reader is active and ready to accept data.

Once the buttons are lit, a button can be pressed.  Each button corresponds to a different transaction type.  A key indicating what each button represents is generally placed on the top of each reader.  Once the correct button is pressed, the reader then logs the tag ID, reader ID, time, and button # pressed.

This data is then transfered to the main CPU database.
Here the software assigns reader IDs to games, tag IDs to employees, and button numbers to transaction types.

Each reader contains its own on-board memory so that in case of a power failure all transactions that have not been transmitted to the CPU are saved until power can be restored.

Game Tracker Software

As illustrated below the Game Tracker software allows an administrator to assign transaction types and dollar amounts to each button for a specified game layout.  A different game layout can be saved for each game.

The software also allows the administrator to assign user names to RFID tags by swiping the tag on a specified reader, and entering the users name into the database associated with that tag.

During normal operation, the sofware actively monitors each reader in the field and indicates if any reader that is not communicating properly.

The Game Tracker software generates revenue reports against time, game location, and employee.  It also generates prize giveaway reports, and employee login/logout reports.
